Kinva Health invited to Westminster

It was a real privilege to represent Kinva at the Palace of Westminster yesterday. The event showcased recent investment in the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council area, where we're based, and a selection of businesses from the area were also there to network.

We were definitely feeling the heat from the sun in the Terrace Pavilion, but the views over the Thames made the event even more memorable. And the recently renovated Elizabeth Tower was looking particularly shiny in the sun ☀ .

A great day!

It's been quite the week here at Kinva!

We're thrilled to see our CEO and co-founder Michelle Connor awarded a 'Women in Innovation' award by Innovate UK at a special event in Manchester.

These Awards recognise women with innovative, high-potential ideas and ambitious plans, and recognise a diverse cohort of entrepreneurs from every nation and region of the UK.

Congratulating Northern Ireland’s Women in Innovation Award winners, Secretary of State for Northern Ireland Chris Heaton-Harris explained: “Susan and Michelle should be incredibly proud of being named as two out of 50 winners of Innovate UK’s Women in Innovation Awards for using their personal experiences to develop and create solutions and benefiting the world around them.

“It’s fantastic to see such great ambition and innovation recognised, and it is important that we continue to encourage and reward ideas and skills like this, to inspire women not just from Northern Ireland, but from across the United Kingdom.”

Michelle added, "We're very grateful for the support of Innovate UK, and all those who've helped us get here. And I'm delighted to be awarded alongside fellow NI founder, Susan Kelly.”

Kinva in Rose Review

We’re very honoured to see Kinva mentioned in this year’s NatWest Rose Review as the winner of the AwakeN Hub showcase.

In 2019, the Rose Review noted that £250billion could be added to the UK economy if women in the UK matched men in starting and scaling businesses.

We’re thrilled to be part of that ambition.

Big thanks to the wonderful ladies at AwakenHub and all of the #SheGenerate women as we continue to support each other.

Also to Ulster Bank Northern Ireland Business for their support of the programme.
